MCM Group was master planning consultant for the Korean Olympic Games, the second summer Olympic Games to be held in Asia and the first since the 1964 Summer Olympics held in Tokyo, Japan.

In the Seoul Games, 160 nations were represented by a total of 8,391 athletes. Total attendance to all events was 4.2 million people, with 237 events and a volunteer staff of 27,221.
